I love being your mama!

Cade Thomas Felch...how, I love being your mama! My life was forever changed the day you came into my life. You make me smile at the drop of a hat. You give me hugs when I need them most. You make me a better person..and a better mom. I love when we laugh like crazy at nothing at all, snuggle and sing at night before bed and every moment in between. I love you with everything inside me...you are my little monkey...and for that I am forever blessed.

Steppin' Out

Cade seems to think he's a big boy now and can walk up and down the stairs alone. He is not too thrilled when we insist on helping. This can become quite the chore as he goes up the stairs, down the stairs, up the stairs, down the stairs....I think you get the picture.

But he sure is cute doing it...

Always an adventure...

Cade's latest favorite word..and toy...is a ball. In fact, he has 4-5 balls at the house that he plays with, bounces, throws and shoots hoops with over and over while repeating, "ball, ball, ball, ball..."

Imagine his great surprise..and mine..as we're strolling through produce at the grocery store today and Cade spotted the long expansive wall of....APPLES. His face lit up, he pointed and shouted, "ball, ball, ball, ball..." with joy and excitement.

Oh, to see life through a child's eyes. Priceless.

March, March, March

Cade is beginning to LOVE that we live next to the park. He loves to march, march, march all over the yard and to the park.

...he loves climbing on the jungle gym....

...the grass, not so much...

But it wasn't all fun and games. Cade wanted to help daddy put together and install the new Craftsman tool cabinets.

Family Flashback

It's hard to believe that a year ago today, our sweet boy officially became a child of God. My, how time flies. Look at this angelic face...

...and still a blessing today.

Spring Cleaning 101

It was a beautiful spring weekend in Wisconsin so we took advantage by getting work done outside and around the house. Cade was a happy helper...

Cade attempted to pitch in inside the house as well. Although I'm not sure this was as productive. Is it really necessary to load the dishwasher from inside of it? Cade seems to think so...

Happy Easter!

As you can see, Cade's second Easter was a "hoppy" one! We had an Easter egg hunt and dinner at Grandma & Grandpa Lech's on Saturday.

On Easter Sunday, we had brunch at Grandma & Grandpa Felch's.

Good times were had by all...especially by Cade!
